RAISE Suite held its first External Advisory Board meeting, bringing together experts in Open Science, FAIR data, and research data management to review the project’s first-year progress and discuss its technical developments.

The meeting brought together four distinguished Advisory Board members:
- Alexandra Delipalta, Director of the RDA Europe Grants Section at the Research Data Alliance.
- Lia Ollandezou, Coordinator of HEAL-Link (Hellenic Academic Libraries Link).
- Dr. Maria Pawlowska, Open Science expert specialising in research management and international collaboration.
- Dr. Simon Hodson, Executive Director of CODATA and coordinator of the CDIF4EOSC project.
Following introductions, AUTH presented the project’s objectives, achievements, and the RAISE Portal. The session continued with an overview of the real-life pilots, highlighting the Forestry use case and its approach to research data collection and management.

During the open discussion, Advisory Board members raised technical questions concerning data management, persistent identifiers (DOIs), and data traceability, encouraging an exchange with the RAISE Suite team.
The meeting marked an important step towards strengthening external expert engagement. The Board’s expertise will help guide the further development of RAISE Suite solutions, supporting their alignment with FAIR principles, Open Science practices, and the needs of the research community.
