The RAISE Suite project continues to expand its reach and share its innovative approach to data management with the global scientific community. Our project was successfully presented at the 15th International Conference on Data Science, Technology and Applications (DATA 2026), which took place in Porto, Portugal, from July 16th to 18th, 2026.

Presenting the RAISE Suite Vision
During the conference, our Project Coordinator, Evdokimos Konstantinidis (Lab of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation, AUTH), took the stage in Session 1A to present a dedicated paper on our ongoing efforts.
The paper, titled “FAIR Data Management from Collection to Exploitation: The RAISE Suite Project,” detailed our comprehensive methodology for handling data. The presentation highlighted how RAISE Suite ensures that data remains Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) at every stage of its lifecycle, from initial collection all the way through to its final exploitation.

Sharing these insights at such a prominent venue reinforces our commitment to advancing open science and secure data-sharing ecosystems.
About the DATA 2026 Conference
The DATA conference series serves as a premier gathering point for researchers, engineers, and industry practitioners. Its primary purpose is to foster collaboration and share advancements across a wide spectrum of data-centric fields, including databases, big data, data mining, data management, and data security.
The event focuses on information systems and technologies that drive advanced data applications, structured around six core conference areas:
- Data Science & Machine Learning
- Databases & Data Management
- Data Engineering, Infrastructure and Business Applications
- Data Analytics & Visualization
- Data Privacy & Security, Ethics & Governance
- Data in Industry and Emerging Trends in Data
Our participation in DATA 2026 not only provided an excellent platform to disseminate the early outcomes of the RAISE Suite project but also allowed us to engage in fruitful discussions with leading experts shaping the future of data technologies.
